Unique Patina
We use an old Gun Blueing technique to darken the Steel core. We've chosen this coating because it develops a beautiful one-of-a-kind patina over time, slowly etching the story of your adventures with every scratch and mark. If you would like us to accelerate this process we can rock tumble the core to give it an aged look from day one.

Interchangeable bezels allows you to personalise your case quickly and easily. We offer additional sets of bezels and back plates in five stunning colours.

ASEMBELY INSTRUCTIONS
Fit the Bezel to the Core
• Lay the Core flat with the crown cutout on the right hand side.
• Make sure the Bezel is aligned with the 12 marker at the top.
• Lightly press in the Bezel.
• Use the 6 Hex screws to attach the Bezel making sure to not over tighten.
Set the Watch in the Backplate
• Ensure your watch is clean.
• Place the watch into the Backplate.
• If you've left the spring bars on your watch, be careful to ensure they fit correctly into the designated slots.
Place Upper Case Over Watch
• Align the Core over the watch.
• Ensure the cutout is aligned with the crown.
• Lower the Core onto the watch.
• Carefully flip over, using light pressure to keep the watch secure.
Securing the Backplate
• Using the 4 Torx screws, lightly thread to ensure correct positioning.
• Tighten the screws until snug, do not over tighten.
• Fit strap through fixed lugs.
How does the Black Oxide coating develop a patina over time?
The Black Oxide coating naturally develops a unique patina as it interacts with your environment and daily wear. It will show scratches, marks, and signs of use, making your Expedition Case truly one-of-a-kind.
How long should I expect to wait for the coating to develop a visible patina?
The rate at which the patina develops varies based on factors such as usage and environmental conditions. You can expect to see the first signs in a couple of week and expect it to become more noticeable over time.
What are interchangeable bezels, and how do they work?
Interchangeable bezels are colored rings that can be easily swapped onto the Expedition Case. They allow you to customize the appearance of your watch accessory to match your style or mood.
Can I purchase additional bezels separately?
Yes, you can purchase additional bezels separately to expand your customization options.
Is the Expedition Case compatible with other watch brands and models?
The Expedition Case is specifically designed to fit Timor Heritage Field WWW & ATP and Modern Field 100M watches. It is not compatible with watches from other brands or different Timor models.
Can I purchase the Expedition Case without interchangeable bezels?
Yes, you can purchase replacement Core on its own if you need to replace it. Just contact us to arrange a replacemnt.
