The Heritage Field BWD is our limited-edition watch created exclusively for British Watchmakers’ Day 2026. It combines our mid-century design DNA with contemporary British watchmaking. Designed in Great Britain and manufactured in Switzerland, it features a carefully balanced 1940s-inspired dial with small seconds, a newly developed hour-numeral typeface with subtle micro-serifs for clarity at scale, and a bespoke DIN-based minute track. The colour palette reinterprets the Union Jack with a restrained modern accent inspired by the 2012 Team GB uniform.

Every BWD comes with both a Tan Leather strap and our new Heritage Bracelet.

The Dial

A clear hierarchy between hours, minutes, and seconds ensures good legibility at a glance. Which is our top priority for a field watch. The seconds sub-dial provides a functional separation and aids visual balance. The broken railroad track allows for the full minute markings without compromising the vintage aesthetic. Finally the large primary numerals complete the dial.

The Color

The colour palette reinterprets the Union Jack through red, white, and deep navy, softened by a lighter blue drawn from the 2012 Team GB Olympic uniform. The discreet “Designed in Great Britain” banner is only visible on close inspection. A quiet signature rather than an overt statement.

The Numerals

The forms are built in a geometric style common to the 1940s. The pleasing combination of subtle curves and micro-serif flourishes results in a balanced and distinctive appearance. Together, these details give the numerals both structural clarity and a quiet sense of refinement that rewards closer inspection.
